The project includes summarizing and finalizing of the NKG2008 campaign i.e. producing the final ITRF coordinates for the campaign points as well as updated transformations from the campaign coordinates to national ETRS89 realizations. The next step of the project is to study different possibilities to improve the connection between global (ITRFyy) and national (ETRFyy) reference frames. In the Nordic countries this means that the effect of the post-glacial rebound phenomenon has to be taken into account. The resulting transformation procedure can be used for maintaining of the national ETRS89 realizations.
